Things to Consider

Sometimes a retailer may quote you for an instrument that is not in stock or available to them.  It's worth checking also that they are authorised dealers of the particular model you are looking to purchase.  

Hidden Extras

Be sure to check that the quotation you receive is 'all inclusive' and doesn't contain any hidden extras such as delivery charges, VAT, supplementary items etc.

Non-UK Retailers

Some non-UK retailers advertise cheap pricing on their websites but this is usually only an indicative price.  Most transactions are charged in the currency of origin (usually Euros) and the website will only show a rough idea of the equivalent Sterling price.  It's also worth considering overseas transaction charges issued by your card provider.  This will usually increase the cost and often gets overlooked.
