The Yamaha FS720S is a small bodied folk guitar, with solid sitka spruce top, nato back and sides. 90 degree bracking pattern, gloss headstock, and new pearloid headstock logo, white/black body and fretboard binding, and new bridge design.
The Yamaha FS720S features include solid Spruce top, die-cast Chrome hardware and a unique, non-scalloped X-bracing. An inverted L-block, similar to the Yamaha LL6 acoustic, creates a tighter connection between the body and the neck, and also provides a deeper, fuller low end.
Think of the FS720S folk guitar as an alternative to the larger bodied Yamaha FG. Women favour the FS series for its comfortably compact size and slightly deeper body depth that enhances its sweet, focused tone.
