The Kawai CL35 is the 'big brother' of the CL25. It has the newer version of Kawai's Advanced Hammer Action, the IV-F, which allows better dynamic control. Other added features include 2 x 13w speakers, 15 voice, recording function, and 3 fixed pedals.
The main difference between the CL25 and CL35 is the better quality speakers, the improved action, and the fixed pedals. This is a great advantage as the pedals are placed like an acoustic piano rather than a pedal on a cable, which is more like a keyboard.

Does everything I bought it for: compact, digital so can use headphones, concert magic function brilliant for young kids, great value. Slight niggles would be: the black nylon cover looks really cheap compared with the rest of the piano and the music stand has to be taken off and put...where?....when the cover is on; the music stand is very shallow so books that don't open completely flat fall off; and the pedals sit quite far forward compared to an acoustic piano (have only had it 8 weeks and love it but still finding that awkward so if you use the pedals a lot make sure you really try it out before buying). Otherwise its great.

The whole experience purchasing our digital piano from Sheargold was a pleasure. We were looking for a full sized keyboard for our 10 year old son who is taking his grade 2 currently. He now has his wish and thoroughly enjoys the quality and sound. I'd recommend a visit to the showroom. It’s an experience in itself.
